WHEAT ROUGHOUT

Full-grain water buffalo leather with the flesh side exposed, Wheat Roughout has a naturally textured, suede-like surface with a distinctly rugged character. Its open nap catches dirt, oils and friction, gradually darkening and burnishing across high-wear areas. Over time, the surface develops darker tones, smoother patches and a rich, uneven patina unique to its wearer. It starts raw and textured, then builds depth, contrast and character with every mark it gathers.

Our Wheat Roughout brings a raw, suede-like texture to the leather, designed to pick up character, marks and patina with every wear.

How We Craft Our Goodyear Welted Footwear

1.

Handpicking Leather, Tracing it & Cutting by Hands for making an upper.

2.

Stitching Upper Panels Together with Uttermost Precision & Detailing.

3.

Insole, the backbone of the boots/shoes is made from thickest vegetable tanned Leather.

4.

Upper is stretched & nailed to leather insole to mould the upper into a boot/shoe shape.

5.

Leather welt is stitched though the upper into the leather insole for durability.

6.

Steel shank is added & cavity is filled with cork footbed which shapes to your feet.

7.

A Natural nitrile rubber outsole is first cemented and then hand stitched to the welt.

8.

Stacked leather layers & rubber heel is nailed to the boot/shoe from inside & outside.
