Description

Inspired from work boots developed for mine and industrial workers in early 1900s later adopted by Military and Navy as service boots in world war I & II. Toe Cap boots have stood the test of time both in terms of durability and functionality.

These Heritage Goodyear welted work Boots with Classic Toe Cap panel stitching, hand stitched Commando Rubber outsoles, perfect for a rugged loving gentleman.

A pair of boots which would last you for years to come. Crafted out of full grain thick buffalo leather, hand stitched goodyear welting. A boot sturdy enough to beat any terrain.

These boots are Semi Leather Lined, with vamp and heel counters lined with leather lining.

Lightweight work boots that you can wear all day long, all weather boots great for summers or winters.

5 0z (2mm) thick waxed full grain buffalo leather upper.
3 0z (1.4mm) thick leather lining.
10 Oz (4mm) thick full vegetable tanned insole.
7 Oz (3mm) thick full vegetable tanned handmade leather welt.
Steel Shank for durability and strength.
100% natural Cork footbed for extra comfort.
100% rubber Commando outsole for extra traction.

Damping Latex memory foam + Genuine Leather insole.

Outstanding craftsmanship!

I have looked for the right pair of boots for many years. The construction was key as well as the toe box structure, which seems to be more pronounced in these boots. Exactly what I was looking for. Immediately out of the box the feel of the leather and craftsmanship in creating these boots is outstanding. Incredible comfort and support from the 3/4 boot and the sole is sturdy and rugged. Wears very well with jeans and the color is purely stunning. I cannot recommend these boots enough. I'm going to end up with one in each color!

Looks good, built tough

It's been a week of continuous wear and they are breaking in nicely. I had opted for the leather footbed (which you need to order as extra) and it's slightly taking the shape of my feet. The upper leather is gorgeous and has nice grains on it - hoping it would develop a great patina with wear. The sizing I had opted for initially was UK 7.5 as per their size chart, but turned out to be too small. The C&G support was great and helped me with the exchange for a size 9 which fits great. I do wish it came with mini lugs rather than commando soles, but that I can replace at the time of resoling.

I love these boots!

The workmanship is outstanding. I very much like the buffalo leather. It's light but tough. I added some Huberd's shoe oil to the bottom of the insole to stop the new shoe squeak. And I applied some more around the inside of the collar and tongue, just to make it a little softer. These additions were not necessary, just personal preference. These are excellent boots. Among my favorites. A great value.

Highest quality natural rubber sole with deep lugs for ultimate traction and abrasion. Stacked leather heels. Sole is handstiched to the welt. Great for outdoors and all day wearing.

Vegetable Tanned Leather Heel & Toe Counters

Toe box and heel counters are crafted out of thick vegetable tanned leather and dipped in industrial hardeners to keep your boot structured and durable for a lifetime.

How We Craft Our Goodyear Welted Boots

Handpicking Leather, Tracing it & Cutting by Hands for making an upper.
2.
Stitching Upper Panels Together with Uttermost Precision & Detailing.
3.
Insole, the backbone of the boot is made from thickest vegetable tanned Leather.
4.
Upper is stretched & nailed to leather insole to mould the upper into a boot shape.
5.
Leather welt is stitched though the upper into the leather insole for durability.
6.
Steel shank is added & cavity is filled with cork footbed which shapes to your feet.
7.
A Natural rubber outsole with deep lugs is first cemented and hand stitched to the welt.
8.
Stacked leather layers & rubber heel is nailed to the boot from inside & outside.
