The Craft Boondocker Boots (Saddle Tan) Goodyear Welted

Built from the bones of history, The Craft Boondocker is our modern revival of the US Navy’s iconic N-1 Field Shoe — the boot that served through the grit of World War II. Using a genuine 1941 Mississippi Shoe Company last as our foundation, we spent months refining its ergonomics and redrawing period-correct USMC patterns to create a boot that honors its military DNA yet feels unmistakably modern underfoot.

Cut from full-grain 1.8–2.0 mm water buffalo leather and finished with a vegetable-tanned Goodyear welt, the Boondocker pairs timeless strength with day-one comfort. Its unstructured almond toe collapses naturally with wear, developing the chiselled profile prized by collectors. Underfoot, a layered cork and leather system cushions each step, while our proprietary Anvil Heritage sole provides grip, flexibility, and resilience through every season.

From field to street, this 6-inch boot carries the raw authenticity of a wartime workhorse — rebuilt with materials and craftsmanship worthy of a new generation.
