Moc-Toe Leather Boots 6" (Saddle Tan) Goodyear Welted

First of all this is a very handsome pair of boots, they do looks quite nice with a pair of selvedge denim. The pair is a well constructed shoe. I have worn the pair just one time as of now and the dynamics of the shoe while walking are quite comfortable. I might however mention that i have quite slim feet and the pair i received is a bit roomy for me, hence i cannot say for people who have bulky feet. The full grain leather used looks quite supple and will take a shine well i guess, the pores of the leather are perfectly visible unlike the cheap leathers we find in the mass market where the top layer is usually sanded off, the leather is decently thick too, I can say comfortable that this leather will last a really long time and if craft and glory provides resoling service, this pair will last decades. The heel counter has developed wrinkles in first wear though, it is still quite stiff however, but i fear with these wrinkles it may start breaking down and that in my opinion is the number one reason why shoes become unusable as toe and heel counters are battered to a mash and the overall aesthetics of the shoes are lost, only time will tell how the toe and heel counters on this shoes age, but on first wear impressions, it looks 50-50. I feel maybe adding a narrow and wide size will help customers with a better fitting boot, lot of brands carry different pair last for wide and narrow feet, something they can look into.

The laces provided with the shoe are of premium quality as well with an extra lace in the box and a shoe bag which is actually usable, that is a nice touch to elevate the overall experience, adding a shoe horn would have just taken the unboxing experience to 5 stars.

The sole looks good, however the rubber on these shoes feels soft, because i can see a wear pattern on them already at the back edges, this is usually the case with all my shoes and they depict the same wear pattern. I think the brand should really consider providing resoling services given the fact this is a goodyear welted shoe and is easily re solable. The insoles seem a bit short for the size UK 9.5 i have ordered and move around a bit in the shoe, but this is easily fixable, honestly a nit pick. The stitch density is great too for a pair that is machine welted i am guessing. Also FYI, this pair does needs a break in as the leather is a bit stuff as of now.

Overall its a great pair of shoe, great construction, beautiful supple leather that will age well i am sure, comfortable shoe, lightweight. Honestly there arent many options at this price and for what it is, this is a good value for money shoe that i am sure will last for a long time and only time will tell the full review as a boot needs to last long and take a lot of abuse before calling it a day, which i am somewhat sure this will be able to handle as i have worn a lot of pairs over the years.

The leather quality is excellent. Not much breakin period too. I had to change my order to add speed hooks. This was very professionally accommodated. All in all a very smooth and wonderful experience. Cant wait for the boots to patina up. I recommend this brand and will shop here again.

The leather quality isn't the best they are in between die hard boots and red wings the leather is like cardboard

At first I was skeptical of buying from a brand which I saw in in instagram. But let me tell you they have the potential to be one of the best shoe brands in India purely on the basis of leather they have used and the superb craftsmanship.
I am a Medical Officer in ONGC Tripura Asset posted in drilling rig and I have to wear industrial grade safety boots with steel toes and steel shanks all the time and your soles hurt like hell. With that said, I own few pair of woodland boots, 8 year old. The Moc Toes of C&G hits the sweet spot in between, with exactly the right comfort for my feet after my first wear. I wear a standard 8 uk & my feets are broader and my 2nd finger is longer than the first for the reference.
After watching a few youtube videos & reviews which states about the insole being thin and not comfortable, I invite them to wear safety boots.
About the box its very sturdy and has a dust bag and a rugged key chain as a gift. If you are a person who likes to care for your things you will love the box.
Overall I have to say keep it up guys and looking forward to your leather jackets. If this quality is maintained I am your loyal customer.

I liked the way the boot has been constructed. They are sturdy & have a wide toe area for broad-footed people like me. This boot is good year welted, which means they will last a very long time to come. They need minimum maintenance. Overall, cool pair of shoes to have in the era of sneakers which are mostly built by fake leather & have a very small shelf life.
