Inspired by Sailor Sperry's 1935 Long Island Boat Shoes, our Goodyear welted Boat Shoes extend his vision of durable, comfortable footwear with exceptional grip and traction to be able to move swiftly through tough rides.

 

It is handcrafted with the highest quality full-grain leather, durable rubber outsoles, and cushioned genuine leather insoles.

 

Evolving from practical yachtsmen's footwear to a staple for US Marines, and now a modern style essential, these Boat Shoes are perfect for all seasons. Pair with rolled-up chinos and a white shirt for a classic look, or jeans and a linen shirt for a rugged style. Step confidently into any adventure with their relaxed look and premium comfort.

·   10 Oz (4mm) thick full vegetable-tanned midsole.

·   Steel Shank for durability and strength.

·   100% natural Cork footbed for extra comfort.

·   Full rubber commando sole with stacked leather heels.

Great shoes but misleading Product description

The shoe itself is a beautiful piece of craft. I bought in saddle tan it looks beautiful with its unique tone. I bought it only cz it has a midsole (as clearly mentioned in the website) as I wanted to own a shoe with a midsole. But to my utter dismay after wearing for 1-2 months I could only came to know it doesn’t have a midsole. And it’s just a joke on me felt like a fool. With other products however like sneakers, boots and jacket I didn’t faced any issue so far. One star removed just for the experience I faced.

Great to look at

Great to look at, great to wear. But the hand stitched leather needs some breaking in. I am still in this period. But 3 days into it... It's worth a buy overall
